Our camping trip over the holiday weekend was spent in Telluride, CO! It was a beautiful, but long drive! The views were amazing, and with dad and Scott's new trucks we had quite the rig!
And setup!
Watson was able to come with us, despite his recent surgery. We just had to try to restrict his activity and he had to keep the shirts on. He did so great! He really is a very well behaved pup (not including his choice of snack foods, i.e. beach towels)!
One of our first nights around the campfire!
Scott fishing, and yes, he camped with Ranger Ter! The shirts Scott ordered to surprise my dad were quite the hit with him!
We were so bummed that Watson wouldn't be able to swim in his first lake with his staples, but he did get to see his first fish. He wasn't too sure what to think!
But, overall, he was a pretty happy dog!
Mom, dad and I with our Ranger Ter shirts! He loved them!!
We spent a day fishing, followed by a day shopping in Telluride. Then on the 4th we went into the small town of Rico and enjoyed all of the festivities they had to offer! The Rico parade...
Navajo tacos for lunch followed by the fire stations duck race fundraiser.
River of Gold...although we didn't win.
I finally managed to get a little fishing in, with no luck.
Ended the day watching fireworks from dad's truck bed!!! Watson fell asleep!
Yet another fun camping trip! Made a few new memories and nicknames;

Yet another fun camping trip! Made a few new memories and nicknames;~Huddled behind the truck (all six of us) changing the shirt Watson had just peed on. Finish, only to notice the group next to us not quite sure what to think of this group putting a t-shirt on a big dog in the heat.
~Dad became "Crash" after he backed his brand new truck into a car (no damage). Scott became "Slice" after a little accident involving his thumb and a knife (no permanent damage).
~Fish fry with Ernest and Jennette's family! Yum!
~The big dipper incident!
Can't wait for the next trip!
