Birthdays!

Davis turned one, and he made the cutest little spider! Since it was near Halloween, they threw a costume party for the kids!

His adorable cupcake!

That he HATED! Poor little man gagged when Robin gave him a taste. Guess he is more of a mean and potatoes boy...And Scott turned 30!! So I threw him a party at the house! I catered food from Jim n' Nicks BBQ, ordered him an awesome cake from Das Meyer Bakery, and invited all the fam and of course his friends!Sara and Rowan were in town to celebrate! So glad they could be there...Birthday buddies getting reaquainted. Maybe the next time they will show some interest in eachother!Scott's birthday cake! It turned out better than I could have hoped! Now I'm just wishing I had more events to order cakes for! My father in law had a horse running in California that night, which was a great excuse for everyone to watch the ponies race for a little while...Happy Birthday Scott!Cole helping his favorite Uncle blow out the candles! Scott gave him one of the fondant cigars to taste, who knew they would put a wire in it! Thankfully we caught that before Cole swallowed it!
Scott with Adrian and Joe, boys will be boys!Intense dart games...Sacked out pup...One of the best friends I could ask for, wearing my bunny hug!

October 2010

Lots to catch up on...so I will start with October.

The first weekend of October we threw a 50th anniversary for Alpha Phi back at UNC. I helped the actives plan to have 50 years of graduates come back to celebrate the acheivement! It was a fantastic weekend! Had a blast with my girls and meeting so many that have made our house strong!

We started off at Red Dress. JoRae, Sarah, Laura, Sara and I posed with Jan! The best house mom we could have had! Here I am with some of our founders! Fun bunch of ladies!! Sara, Sarah and I with Jewels...so sad she couldn't be there with us! But once she is finally better we will make up for all she has missed out on!!Homecoming parade with some of my very favorite people!!!! Gretch, Linds, Sara and Jewels. People like these girls are the very reason my sorority experience was what it was...
All the Phi's at the Parade!

It wouldn't be a visit to Greeley without a stop at Roma's!...or Rio!!...or the Cactus!!!Definitely a fun filled weekend with some of my very favorite friends!

The following weekend Scott and I were both in the wedding party for our friends Nikki and Shawn to tie the knot! We had a great time at both the rehearsal and the wedding and catching up with another set of friends from our college days!Ernest can always be counted on to make a good picture at least a little awkward! Here Scott and I are with the best men from our own wedding 4 years ago!!!With our beautiful God-daughter, Colbie.
Really the only way to describe this night! So much fun!!!
