Still loving it!

So these are just a few more reasons why I love fall so much!!!

Oil & Gas flag football with my girls...We didn't do as well in the ranks this year but we had fun!
Kids and their costumes! Even when they don't get it and want nothing to do with posing for the pictures!

Halloween! The chance to be someone or something else if even for just a few hours! Scott finally gave in to peer pressure and was Peyton Manning, so what else would I be but his biggest fan! And Tanner will forever be the only little hot dog I ever like!!!

Fall...

I LOVE FALL!! Everything about it! And we are supposed to wake up to snow tomorrow and I can't wait! Tanner came in the other morning after we had our first frost and jumped up into bed with me to curl into a little ball to warm up! And he smelled so good!! Maybe that sounds crazy, but that crisp cool smell on those mornings is one of my all time favorites! Plus the start of Winter always brings so many good things! Our anniversary, holidays (which ultimately mean Family!), vacations, snow, chilly days wrapped up on the couch!! Oh yes, I'm loving it!

Scott, Dad, and Craig got home last week from hunting with no luck, but they did see a lot and both Dad and Scott got to shoot their guns, which hasn't always happened in the past. It sounds like they had a great time, and Scott might have a chance to go Deer hunting with Ernest next weekend, so his chances aren't over yet! While he was out, I had my second annual GM high school reunion with my girlfriends from High School! It was a blast again, and a few more girls made it this year so that was great! It's amazing how years can seperate us, but things are always the same. It really reminds me what good friends I have, and I can be proud of the people I have chosen to surround myself with, because they are amazing people!

I took a day off yesterday to help take care of Cole. Robin is on a cruise and Craig was at work. I had a blast with him! And he was very patient with me on our little photo shoot! I always forget how much I love photography, and this definitely made for a good time, and he enjoyed our hike and playing with pumpkins!

I also got to see John this weekend!! I am always so excited to see him and his family! I'm always so happy to see that he has found his happiness in life and that we are all still able to be a part of it! He truly is a brother to me and I am so thankful he was brought into my life. But I also have to be thankful for the things that didn't work out. Ultimately, if John and Sara hadn't gone their seperate ways, I wouldn't have Justin either, and believe me I love that guy a little too! I'm so lucky to have these people! Craig is also a wonderful addition to our family! I can't believe I went from having two sisters to having three amazing brothers, so thank you Sara and Robin! Anyway, John's family is so beautiful, Brody is a mini-me of John! Although he was being a little shy!

I also have to mention how great I have been feeling!! I am just recovering from a cold and that is never fun, but as far as everything else I have dealt with these last months, I feel great! My eyes are still bothering me some, but I am convinced this is all my old age! ;) And I really have taken a new attitude on this! It has given me a fresh prespective on life and I plan to take full advantage of that!!

I love him...

Wow! Scott and I have officially been married two years! These last two years have gone by so fast, but they have been an amazing two years! I knew I loved him before I married him (otherwise I wouldn't have married him), but I can honestly say I love him so much more now...It seems a little tough to believe that just a couple years married could change my love, but it really has become a much deeper love. He makes my life complete and I know for a fact that we were meant to be together! We are soooo busy this month traveling, and I'm not over exaggerating! Scott got home last night from a day and night in Chicago, then he leaves Friday for a week for hunting, he's home for three days before he heads to West Palm Beach. Then he is home three days before I leave for Shreveport, then I get four days home before going to Austin! So needless to say it will be a wild month so we won't be doing anything too big for our anniversary, but it will be special regardless. I will be cooking dinner, yes me, and dessert, then hopefully just spend some time relaxing...I did decide I needed to remind him why I loved him so much, so I gave him the top reasons, I could only list a few otherwise I could be at this forever! So here are a few of those...
~We can be ourselves together.
~His passion...For life, the things he loves. It really is an inspiration.
~He loves my family as much as I do.
~He can ALWAYS make me smile or laugh, I really don't know how he does this, but it works!
~I love the way he cares for me, it's a way no one else ever could...
~His hugs are the best.
~His own special way of apologizing...
~The fact that he loves Tanner as much as I do, and doesn't laugh when I treat Tan like a person.
~How he can get upset over something, but be over it in a blink of an eye!
~I love thinking of our future together and knowing he will be in it!
~I absolutely adore his smile, laugh, and humor! Even when it takes me a while to get it! :)
~He has made me a better person...

I'm so happy to call him my husband. But more importantly he is my best friend, and I know how lucky I am to have that! I can't wait to see how the next years unfold!
