Football, vet visits, and new babies!!

I can't believe it is already almost March! Where does this time really go, some days I feel like time is flying by while I am standing still, but then I take a look at what has been going on and I realize we have been going right along with it!

As you can see we rooted for the good 'ol Colts this year. Even Tanner (notice the cone of shame is gone, more on that later!) got into the spirit, most likely against his will! We had fun cheering for them in the super bowl with some good friends and neighbors, but as we all know the underdogs took the title. And we couldn't help being happy for them, even if Peyton didn't pull his team through.

However, I think we could have done without this...Came home from work the Monday after the Super Bowl and our neighbors had so kindly decorated the front of our house. At least we know they are good sports, and some day they may come home to a little surprise themselves!

Good news for Tanner!! After 48 very LONG days, he has ditched the cone of shame! After our last appointment it was confirmed that the ulcer on his eye is gone and he was just left with a little scar tissue that should eventually heal as well. So he has resumed his favorite spot, hanging with the boys in the garage! And he was able to ditch most of his medication! I do take him tomorrow for his 3 month follow up on the IRAP treatment! I am really excited to see how his x-rays look. He has been doing SO great since we put him back on Rymadil. We don't see him limp at all anymore! I am trying not to be too optimistic as I know it is a low activity time of year for us, and the real test will be this summer when we get back to the mountains. But I am still hopeful. They will also be doing one final injection tomorrow as they had enough blood to do an extra treatment. I feel terrible putting him through this again, but at least it shouldn't be as bad as wearing the cone of shame for two months!

Work has been busy, but pretty good. I actually fly out to Austin next Tuesday for a quick meeting. Fly in and out the same day, so it will be a long day, but at least it will get me away from my desk for a few! We have been doing fundraising again for our JA bowling team. I tried to do something different this year, so mom helped me make some place mats for dogs. A lot of people at my company are as crazy as their pets as I am, so I figured I could make a little money off of them. It turned out great, and I sold all but one! Might have to try sewing a little more!

So excited to be having another member joining our family!!! Sara and Mack are expecting their first beginning of August! I can't wait to see what their baby will look like, and so excited to see if it's a boy or a girl! Mack will get home from his deployment in early March, they will find out mid-March! Then we can go crazy spoiling this one!

Twins??!!??!

Do these two look alike or what!!!???!!
And apparently Davis hasn't quite decided how he feels about me just yet. I seem to be getting this face a lot!

Not cool kid!!!

It's not enough that I have to give up the title of the favorite between Scott and I, but apparently Cole thinks Tanner is the better Aunt!

Jerry's Service

Our trip to Texas for Uncle Jerry's services went as well as could be expected. In addition to the church service his coworkers put on a beautiful service for him at the nursing home he worked as a social worker at. I still can't believe he is gone, he will be very missed! All of the family at Tri-Sun, for the service his coworkers put on.Dad, Rayna and I.James, Christian, Dad, Grandma and I.It was great to see my cousins and catch up with them, but still wishing it had been under better circumstances. Not much else to say...
