Life gets busy and 2012 is flying by! Hard to believe we are already in April. Work has been busy with a lot of changes, but hopefully things will level out soon. Scott continues to be busy at his job as spring is here!
Mom and Dad took a three week vacation to New Zealand, so I was able to babysit for the boys one day while they were gone. Keeping two young boys busy can be exhausting...unless you really like playing games like shark, and wrestling! We made a sign to welcome nana and papa home, that ate up about 20 minutes!

Davis is proving to be quite the daredevil. Fell off a bed during nap and split his lip. Got the stitches out, only to split it open again! Thankfully neither were on my watch!

I managed to take a trip out to visit Sara and Rowan over Sara's spring break. Mack was still deployed so I know she was feeling a little lonely. It was a great trip, fun to see how much Rowan has grown and changed. She is all girl! Loves diapering her doll and clipping and unclipping the stroller! Scott picked out a new waterbottle for her and she LOVED it!

We managed a few visits to the beach, where we played in the sand and chased birds!

We also made a visit to the local zoo, where she even got to pet a couple goats and pretend to be a gorilla! It was a really good visit. Always wish I could stay longer, but glad I have gotten a trip out there at least once a year since they moved there. It's always great to spend one on one time with Sara and Rowan has grown up so much! Excited to see them again soon.

Back at home Scott and I are just anxious for the warm weather to stick around so camping season can start! We managed a quick fishing trip a weekend ago where Scott caught a nice trout. We continue to have fun with this guy, he definitely makes life sweeter!

I have recently found a new behavior of his that makes me laugh...apparently he believes he is a pointer not retriever. He is really good at pointing out all the rabbits in the neighborhood. As well as an occasional cat.

And I believe he would have kept this turtle I saved crossing 104th if I had let him...although I think he would soon find out a turtle isn't the best playmate for a dog!

Life is busy right now, but it is good. Ready for the summer!
