Unfortunatly summer is definitely winding down...thankfully it has been another wonderful season spent doing the things we love the most, with the people we love the most! And although I am sad to see the summer slipping away, I know fall is just around the corner! :) It's been a busy month, and I often felt we were going non-stop, but it was all worth it.
We did another camping trip up to our favorite spot. Didn't take many pictures this time as they just would have looked like duplicates from all our other trips there. I did however catch this one of dad in his boat with his new motor! He seemed to enjoy not having to do all the work to get across the lake! 
Following our camping trip was Scott's Grandparent's 60th wedding anniversary/reunion celebration in Estes Park! We stayed in a huge family reunion cabin at the YMCA and had a blast celebrating their 60 years and catching up with the family. Every single child, grandchild and great grandchild attended, and only one spouse was unable to make the trip. Scott had to leave early Monday morning to work that day, but I was glad he could come the rest of the time!

On Monday, the Casselman's went hiking up in Rocky Mountain Park. Scott was at work, so it was just the girls and Mike, but we had fun! 2 miles one way with three lake stops on the way to the top!
Just passed the first lake we ran into some more of our fellow reunion'ers! We were headed up and they were coming down, so we stopped for a photo op!
The third lake at the end of our hike! Reminds me how lucky I am to live in such a beautiful state! I would have loved to have a fishing pole with us, as the second lake had some beautiful native cutt-throats. The water was so clear you could see them swimming below the surface.
Madison impressed me leading our hike all the way to the end! Such a little trooper, who gets more adorable every time we see her!
And I have officially made up my mind, someday, we will have a mountain home and if we get to come home to these guys every day, even better!

The Pika that managed to get into our cabin! Scott and my brother in law were able to coax him into this pot and set him free (in a sense), if you consider putting him in the cabin next door to ours free! I guess boys will always be boys! :)

He is almost five months now, and getting more and more handsome every day! Hopefully I will see him again before he turns one! ;)
I have also made it to a few outings with the girls. One bbq and a few movie nights! I have amazing friends!
The next three weekends are packed, but they should all be a great end to an even better summer. We have a wedding and a baby shower this weekend, then next weekend we will head to Durango to pick up a new toy for the garage (our second 4-wheeler), and then it's off to the mountains for last camping trip of the year, assuming winter holds off a few more weeks (which is looking dicey!).
